Dean Giacobbe is a Consulting and Finance Intern at Mirena and Company, where he brings energy, curiosity, and a strong commitment to excellence to every project. As a student in Rollins College’s competitive 3/2 accelerated MBA program, Dean is earning both his undergraduate degree in business management and his master’s in business administration, all while competing as a student-athlete on the men’s lacrosse team.  Balancing rigorous academics with high-level athletics has shaped Dean into someone who thrives under pressure, collaborates well, and stays focused on what matters.

At Mirena and Company, Dean supports the team through research, organization, and day-to-day contributions across consulting and financial strategy projects. Detail-oriented and highly motivated, he’s always looking for ways to add value, no matter the task. His interest in the intersection of finance and law drew him to this role, and he’s excited to learn how thoughtful, well-executed strategies can create real, lasting impact.

Dean’s background in sports and academics has instilled discipline, time management, and perspective. Whether in the office, on the field, or in the classroom, he brings humility, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset. He’s not just building a résumé, he’s laying the groundwork for a career rooted in purpose and integrity.

Outside of work and school, you’ll likely find Dean on the lacrosse field, playing pickleball, or enjoying the outdoors. He’s also passionate about personal development and regularly explores topics like finance, leadership, and mindset through books, podcasts, and documentaries.
