Mirena Umizaj Dumas, the visionary Founder and CEO of Mirena and Company, has been disrupting outdated business patterns since its inception in March 2013. The journey to establish new patterns of success is driven by a heart-infused blend of ingenuity and compassion to a profession dedicated to administering justice, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring fair treatment for individuals within society. Guided by this mission, Mirena and Company stands as an unparalleled, singular platform that redefines norms and revolutionizes traditional paradigms in the business of law, seamlessly integrating a diverse array of services under one cohesive umbrella.

Mirena's vision for the company was born out of a desire to create a unified approach to financial and strategic decision-making—a departure from the industry's fragmented processes. The result is a harmonious synergy in which all aspects of the business operate cohesively, transforming the way legal services are delivered and reshaping the legal profession, delivering more growth in less time than ever before.

The array of services offered by Mirena and Company reflects this holistic approach, covering Settlement Planning, Litigation Finance, Law Firm Consulting, Plaintiff Funding, Mass Tort Growth Strategy, and Legal Concierge Services for both single-event and mass tort cases. Each of these services is carefully curated and integrated into the platform to provide comprehensive solutions that address the multifaceted needs of law firms nationwide.

A core aspect of Mirena and Company is the personalized touch within an industry where the human element is paramount to the success of a legal project. In a landscape frequently characterized by procedural complexities, Mirena distinguishes herself through a steadfast commitment to clarify and simplify. This individualized approach sets Mirena apart, cultivating deep trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders alike.

As a pioneer in reshaping the legal profession, Mirena continues to lead with a vision that transcends what no longer works, introducing new and exciting practices to create a unified, empathetic approach where every business offering is unequivocally client-centric.

By strategically deploying over a billion dollars to law firms nationwide, Mirena possesses a unique ability to transcend mere figures. With every dollar raised, she gives it a sense of purpose, encapsulating a story, hope, and dream. Her engagement in pivotal cases, ranging from the BP Oil spill to the heart-wrenching Route 91-Las Vegas Shooting, and her instrumental role in shaping landmark litigations such as Camp LeJeune and Baby Formula, underscore her commitment not just to professional duties but to a mission to transform lives.

Settlement Planning isn't just another service. This is where Mirena's career started back in 2011, and she fell in love with it. Working with clients whose lives are altered by injury and offering to sit with their loss and pain as they forge a new normal, making the most of settlement proceeds to create a quality of life for the long term. It's a responsibility she wears with pride, and she isn’t afraid to go deep, ensuring that both Plaintiffs and Firms receive not just financial solutions but also a pathway to genuine well-being. This compassionate approach, in which she stays connected throughout the entire litigation process, ignites her purpose, allowing her to impact lives for the better.

A testament to her holistic approach is her commitment to providing law firms with comprehensive consulting services to grow their businesses and diversify their inventories, increasing success, cash flow, and impact. Mirena simplifies the convoluted, offering clarity amidst legal complexities. Her intuitive understanding of market trends, coupled with her genuine desire to positively impact civil justice, makes her an unparalleled force in the domain.

The seeds of Mirena's unwavering dedication were sown early. Beginning her career with UNICEF, she served as a bridge, translating for American troops aiding Kosovo’s genocide victims. This early exposure to the transformative power of service propelled her to the U.S. Department of Justice & Immigration, laying the foundation for the remarkable legacy she's building today.

Her personal journey is as inspiring as her professional one. Immigrating to the U.S. from Albania at the tender age of 17, Mirena’s resilience and drive saw her graduate from Rollins College, Florida, with honors in International Relations and Communications. Fluent in three languages and with feet rooted in two continents, she embodies global citizenship. Today, she finds joy and solace in Winter Park, Florida, sharing her life with her loving husband and their three children.
